Hello everone
we have had a change in plans the plan was to bring my fiancce and her 5.5 year old son here at the same time now she thinks it is better to wait and bring him in a few years because she wants him to learn chinese character and culture and etc, her parents are good with him and also want this too She is getting ready to send her packate 3 in so I told her she should still apply for him just incase she can not live with out him in a few months I also told her she can not just jump on a plane and go back to get him after we are married. I told her I could go back to bring him but she could not, Am I right? I told I think she should apply just like she is going to bring him I will still include him on my I-134 too that I am ready to send to her soon

A K2 can "follow to join" the K1 up to 12 months later as a derivative of the K1 if he is included in the petition/visa paperwork. He can interview with the K1 (not that a child that age will interview) or it can be set up for him to interview later. So if within 12 months of her visa, she wants him to come to the US his visa is basically approved. After 12 months you do the petition route and wait. Search some of those terms to get better details.
