My question of the day is this! I received on the same day, petition approval for my I-129f and I-130 requests. My question is, can my husband use the I-129f visa to come to the US while waiting for his I-130 to be processed? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

The I-129F is a petition, not a visa. It too takes time to process for a K3 visa.Originally posted by pattycakes1216 View Post
In your case, since both were approved, the USCIS will close your I-129F in favor of the I-130 and you will proceed with processing at the NVC, then embassy for the CR1/IR1 visa.
It's pretty rare for K3 visas to be issued anymore -

This leads me to other questions which I am sure have been answered before but will look on this forum as to what the next step will be for him to leave Bangladesh.

Ignore everything talking about waiting for a visa number or becoming current. A spouse is always current so you will hear from the NVC soon to start sending things and paying. Read up on what's required so he can get his documents if he hasn't already. You need to prepare the I-864 and order tax transcripts NOW.Comment
