A few quick k1 questions

Hi,

We're in the process of starting the preliminaries for a K1 visa and just wanted to know:

1) Does my fiance (US citizen applicant) fill out the g-325a form on behalf me, or do i fill it out and send it over?

2) Is a statement of intention to marry required from both partners for the i129f petition? Some websites mention it, and others don't. Is it just a simple signed statement saying we are getting married within the 90 day period, or do they want all the juicy details?

1) Both of you need to sign your own G-325A so it'd be easier for you to fill it out yourself.

2) According to the instructions for I-129F provided by the USCIS, both of you need to submit signed statements. It just has to be a simple statement which shows your intentions to marry. All the details should instead go on the I-129F form under question 18, where you usually have to attach an additional paper explaining how and when you met etc.
