My fiance and I are going through the process for a K-1 Visa. He is Moroccan and we expect the 6-8 month wait from start to finish. (It's been 3 months now but, our fingers are crossed!) My question is, when it comes time for his interview, My fiance will not be able to provide a police certificate from Libya. He was working there until 3 days before the current situation. Will the Consulate take this into consideration, as he can't get any type of papers from there at this time? Thanks in advance to any response. :-)
