Timeline Update
Im a US citizen and my fiancee is from Mexico. It was helpful to me in this process to see how long things were taking for other people. Here is our update:
Jan. 20, 2011- USCIS confirmed receiving I-129 application for K1 Visa.
May 12, 2011- USCIS confirmed that I-129 had been approved.
June 14, 2011- Further instructions were received (Packet). Consular Appointment scheduled online a few days after, once forms were completed.
July 4-6, 2011- Medical exam, ASC appoinment, Consular interview. Approved on the spot.
July 15, 2011- My fiancee received her K1 Visa.
TOMORROW- AUG. 4, 2011- My fiancee will arrive in the US.
