K-1 question

Hi,

I am planning to bring over my fiance from South Korea and will be submitting the paperwork very soon. I found this helpful forum which has provided me some good information about the process.

I have a few questions if someone can be kind enough to answer -
1. Once my fiance receives the K-1 Visa from the US embassy in S. Korea, does she have 6 months to come to the U.S.?
2. Since she can't leave the U.S. once we enters with the K-1 Visa, I plan to travel to S. Korea few weeks before she comes and plan to go on a pre-marriage honeymoon to another country outside of S. Korea. Will this affect her status at all?

You can go to Korea and take her anywhere you like before she uses K1 visa just not to the USA.
