need help...i m confused.

i m engaged to US permanent resident.she will be US citizen with in 2 years.
i know all the procedure how much time it take when u get marry to US citizen or permanent resident.
the confusion is this.
let say i marry my fiancee with in a year while she is still permanent resident but she dont petition my file right now.
i want that she petition my file when she become US citizen cuz in that way it will take less time for me to be with my fiancee.
lets say she petition my file when she become US citizen . the confusion is will there any kind of objection that she petitioned my file not at a proper time or something like that.
plz help me out .

She can file for you while she is a PR and the papers can start processing. When she gains her citizenship, she can notify them of her new status and you will jump to the front of the line and continue processing instead of waiting for a visa number to become available.

thanks nicole for the help.let say we get marry and after 2 years wait she petition my file.after 6 or 8 months i ll be with her.
i mean she can wait till she become US citizen.
