Question about marriage certificate ?

Hi ,
I am currently working in US on H1B visa.
I am getting married this year and my fiance already has L1 visa.

My question is, Is it required to get marriage certificate (since she already has a work visa ).

Anybody who gets married in the US has to get a license from their state for it to be a legal marriage. Then it is recorded at the courthouse. Then a marriage certificate is mailed to them. It doesn't matter if you have visas or are just Joe and Mary America next door. Not sure what/why you are asking. Maybe you need to explain it more if you need a better answer.
