  • Question regarding Intent letter

At the top of the Intent Letter where it asks for the USCIS address......do I put the local application support center address (I live in Florida) or the Texas addres I am suppose to mail my whole application to?

I am also confused on the beneficiaries letter.....when I open the sample document and just scroll down it shows a non US address in the top right corner.....but when I open the document through word so that the blanks can be filled in, it says the petitioners address goes in the top right hand corner which would be a US address correct? So do we put my fiance's address (Canada) or mine (US).

Thank you in advance for your time

The point is to tell the USCIS that you are free to marry and intend to marry. They aren't grading your business letter formatting skills.

Don't use an address because from Texas Lockbox it will go to Vermont Service Center or California Service Center for processing. So neither the lockbox or your local office will be the one to evaluate it.

Just put USCIS with no address.

It's two letters from two people, putting their own home address and their signature to it.

    ---------------
    John's address

    Dear USCIS:

I , John , am free to marry and intend to marry Susan..........etc

    John

    ----------------------

    Susan's address

    Dear USCIS:

I , Susan, am free to marry and intend to marry John..........etc

    Susan
