Hi..I am a US citizen, I met my fiancé who is from Egypt online. I made a trip to meet him in person in July 2011. I came home and filed the I-130 petition. That was approved 5 months after I sent it in August. Then he received his packet shortly after.. All in all it's been pretty smooth until now. He had his interview in Cairo on April 5, 2012. The consular official told him she wanted more proof of our relationship. He paid the fees and she told him to send whatever he could back in the DHL envelope With his passport. He did, he sent back almost 250 printed pages of emails, Skype, phone bills, etc...
I have done some reading online. From what I've seen, all indications are that they pretty much make up their mind if they believe you or not at the interview. So, is it a promising indications that she told him to send his passport with the papers?? The instruction sheet she gave him said to just send the proof and they would contact at a later date for the passport. I'm so confused and stressed out! Does anyone have any information to offer??
