Hi all! I'm helping my Thai fiancee as we do our K1 Visa.
I'm having trouble filling out forms when they have conflicting instructions, or at the very least confusing instructions when it comes to leaving things blank or not.
Example, DS 230 question 19, has several fields to put in children of beneficiary's names.
My fiancee has no children, so what's appropriate? I've got four ideas:
1) The first box with "NONE", and the proceeding lines with N/A in each and every box (except date since N/A on the digital form is not valid)
2) All the boxes filled with NONE except date since None on the digital form for dates is not valid.
3) Just the first box, with None and all other boxes in the same question left blank.
4) N/A in ever box.
I usually go with my first idea because instructions usually say don't leave questions blank, but then again, question 19 has multiple boxes for 1 question which could be answered with 1 None. Examples out there vary too with 1 or 3 being the most popular.
In my 129f, which was accepted since I've gotten my NOA2, I went with 1. However it took forever to get my NOA2, I wonder if it was due to me putting way too many N/A.
Even simple questions like her name which has 3 boxes, in her middle name (she dosen't have one) do I leave it blank, put "None" or "N/A"?
