What constitutes an original signature? If I'm to keep the original documents, most of which require my signature, how am I supposed to submit my I129-F packet with "original signatures" as indicated on the uscis website. Or are they simply advising against the use of a signature stamp? What gives? Thank you!

There are DOCUMENTS (birth certificate, passport, police certificate, divorce decree, marriage license, bank statement...) which are submitted as photocopies. Originals might be held to show at an interview if requested.
(Not meaning to confuse you with the specific lists as all may not apply to your current application. They are just examples.)
Do photocopy your entire packet, including the check before submitting so you have a record of what you sent.Last edited by nichole; 04-23-2012, 09:57 AM.
