About 3 years ago I traveled back home to india, While i was visiting i met my uncle daughter. We decided later we would like to be married, First i thought of doing the K1 fiance visa, however we decided to do the big wedding in india and then apply for her an immigrant visa. since that time we have had one child but the immigrant visa was denied. the reason they say is because marriages between cousins is not valid according to the hindu marriage act. one of the reasons i did not apply for an fiance visa was because i was aware that in my state of nevada cousins can not marry. my baby daugther is now 10 months old and i miss them very much i can not afford a lawyer. can someone please give me solid advice to what i should do.
