Silly question about K1 application

Hi all,

I'm attempting to bring my Chinese fiancee to the US to get married, and I have a dumb question about the application.

For the information about her it asks for a birthday. China uses a different calendar than the USA so for her birthday on her Chinese ID, by the lunar calendar, it is 07/03 - however, according to the american calendar her birthday is August 26 here. Which date do I put in the application?

It's really the only thing left that I need.

Should be 8/26 but i would use 7/3 instead since it's on her official document(ID, birth certificate, passport etc...)

I was able to get more information from someone, I figured I would post it here in case anyone needed help with this in the future.

You need to use the birth date that matches whatever is on your fiance's passport.
