Hi everyone, anyone please can help us what to do next... last December 28, 2011 my fiance apply the k1 visa but until now we did not receive any result only the letter of confirmation he got last January 6, 2012 notifying him that his application was receive then, he made a follow up last June 30, 2012 the a lady from USCIS Vermont said that the decision was made last May 26,2012 then we have to wait for 90 days.... i heared a lot of applicant they receive there appove application not more than 5 months, how come our application then is so delayed... anybody please can help us where to follow up and what to do next... i'm just wondering what really is the processing time for k1 visa.

We don't know what was the decision as the lady from UCIS did not tell us...as for now we dont do anything yet, as we still waiting the 90 days since we last called. Thank you so much for your reply...Comment

If you have not recieved your NOA 2 approval or a decision by 5 months from the time of your NOA 1 then call the Customer service center , you will find this number on your NOA 1 approval notice also called I-797 C , Notice of Action . Ask them to put in a service request for your case make sure you have your reciept number , as current processing times after 5 months at this time qualify you for this service request . Good luck!
