Salary conflict in DS160 and Offer Letter

Hi All,

I have an appointment in another couple of days. I am worried about my salary discrepancy between my DS160 and offer letter. I entered 15k more salary in DS160 than the one in my offer letter. What should i answer if VO asks about my salary? Can i say, it was by mistake i entered a incorrect figure in DS160?

Once you have sumbitted the form, there is no way to correct it.
Since you have the correct salary on your offer letter and LCA, they are supporting your claim that it was a mistake on your behalf while filling in the form.
Dont get tensed because the VO will ask you your salary and cross check it with your LCA and I129. If they all match up, you have nothing to worry about.
