H1B and H4 Visa extension
Hello
I have got H1B approved petition in Oct 2009 valid till Aug 2012 and got visa stamped in Apr 2012 valid till Aug 2012 (5 Month visa). Rest of the the petition period is unused. Now I have applied for H1b and H4 visa extension (Normal) in 26 Jun 2012. Till date (03 Oct 2012) I have not received any RFE and my case status is in Initial review. Its more than 3 months since I have allied for extension but still did not get any decision from USCIS. Currently I am in US. Can anyone let me know what is processing period for normal H1/H4 visa extension?
Should I contact USCIS to check the decision?
