EAD (AOS) to H1B question

Hello Gurus,

Your advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm EB2-I with 2010 PD & received my EAD/AP in April 2012. My H1B expired on AUG-2012.

I entered USA using AP in JUL-2012 and upon arrival we applied our H1 extension (status is still pending).My original H1B expired and I'm continuing working using the H1 extension receipt notice.

I'm planning to join a new employer in NOVEMBER using my EAD (availing AC21 feature - different employer & similar job) .

If my H1 extension approval comes in DECEMBER (i.e. after I join the new job using my EAD), will my status revert back to H1?

Can I still work for the new employer using my EAD & ignore this new H1b approval?

Please clarify.
