NEFT Transfer, receipt question

Hello Folks,

I have booked an appointment after doing the NEFT transfer and receiving the receipt. In the list of documents to be presented listed they say "Original visa fee payment receipt." . Since I do not have a paper receipt, what would I need to show at the appointment? Would a copy of the "receipt activated" email be sufficient?

I very much have the same question. Now that with online NEFT payment, there is no receipt. Is receipt still needed? How did the PA go?

After you NEFT transfer is done from your account, you will get a notification that, your account number has been activated. Once you get the activation you can proceed with booking your appointement. In you appointment confirmation in Page 3 you will have this information. You dont need the receipt in that case.

BTW, I did the same thing. Everything will be smooth. Dont worry and good luck with your interview. Keep Cool and Rock.

Once you get the activation you can proceed with booking your appointement. In you appointment confirmation in Page 3 you will have this information. You dont need the receipt in that case.

i have create a profile in the https://cgifederal.secure.force.com site.
now during schedule appointment step i got the payment option. Now once i have done the payment , you had said that i will get a notification

Without entering the receipt number i am not able to proceed to next step?
What should i do here? kindly help

1.You will get the notifications both via email and also SMS confirmation to the email and phone# you have provided while creating the profile.
2.i am assuming that you have made the payment via NEFT. the receipt # will already be generated for you when the Unique account number is generated. you can get this information from the webpage that you access to know your Unique account number. this is the one you will have to provide to proceed with the PA scheduling.

Now that you have made your payment, you will have to simply wait for the notification in order to proceed with the booking PA Slot or even knowing the available slots.

I am applying for re-stamping for my family of 3. I added two as dependents and I got only one Unique Beneficiary Account Number, and amount to pay is INR 31350.0. If I pay this amount I will be getting only one receipt number. So am I supposed to enter the same receipt number for all three ?

Yes you will one reference number and the same will be reflected in your appointment letter. No worries.

Unlike what people are saying the page which shows unique beneficiary account number , my page did not show any Receipt Number...
someone even posted a screenshot in another thread showing that receipt number on that same page...
It did not show me any number there except ifsc code and unique account number

It is very much normal. Unless the unique account number is activated, you can book an appointment. The unique account number is activated, once the amount is credited to the account.

Please note that the EFT take at least 24 hours for processing, and it may get delayed if there are holidays in between.

Good Luck !!! Don't panic for these things. Think about getting the documentation, interview right. This would anyway happen.

Hi immihelp,

I used NEFT system for submission for visa fee for me and my daughter. Since, we are two candidates that is why I did two transactions separately by using one unique account number generated by site. I have not received any email or SMS. Dis I make any mistake?? I used same unique Account number for two transactions.

I have the same question. With the NEFT I didnt receive a receipt copy. The receipt number is available on the appointment confirmation - is this sufficient for proof of visa fees payment?
