I am going to Mumbai consulate for H1B stamping in Nov 2012. I have filled and submitted the DS 160 form online. Do i need to submit any document 3 days prior to the visa interview date ?

James, did you get an appointment date in November? If so when did you get one? I am trying to schedule an appointment for November but there are no dates available.

If you are eligible for interview waiver you need to submit the documentation through dropbox at VAC otherwise the documents should be taken to the interview. If the consular officer decides that s/he needs more documentation s/he will issue a form with list of required documents. These again have to be submitted at the VAC.

While scheduling your interview you will be given a questionnaire. Based on your responses the system will inform you if you are eligible for interview waiver or not.
