Hi,
Does having an immediate relation in US, have any impact on H1B processing?
My wife and me work in American MNC's India office. We are in different projects for different clients, which are based in different cities of US
We were both single when the company applied for our respective H1B visas. Our passports have not yet been updated after marraige as there was no time to do the same
My wife traveled to US on H1B in September. Her's was from 2011 quota.
My petition was approved a week ago. So I will be answering the question about "Relation in US" in DS-160 as "Yes"
Will the fact that my wife is already in US, impact my processing?
Will it create a perception that we want to settle there?
Does anyone have an idea of what questions can be expected?
Has anyone experienced anything similar?
