  • questions for husband wife both going to get their respective visas stamped same time

    1. I've been in Us on H1 B approved petition for last 2 years, now I am going to india in December to get my visa stamped.. What should I write as my home address ? The address in US or address in India ? [ANSWERED]
    2. My wife and I both have our own H1s and both are going to get visa stamped .. what should we answer to this question in our DS 160 ? "Do you have any immediate relatives, not including parents, in the United States? " Should we mention each other in our application ? [PLEASE HELP WITH THIS]
    3. Should we mention our specific travel plans in DS 160 ? [PLEASE HELP WITH THIS]

1.) for address the link that u used clearly states that u should use yr India address as yr home address when u r traveling from United States .. Doesn't matter u stayed in us for last 6 months. U can confirm this with others on this forum.
2.) as for mentioning each other in your application yes you both need to mention each other .
3.) as for travel dates I m not too sure but mostly u can mention approximate travel dates that's what I did when I went for my interview and it wasn't a problem

        Thanks for your answer...
If we mention that our spouse is in US , then there is another section for "Spouse" and it asks for the address for the spouse... what should we mention ? Because at that time both of us will be in India ...and on our own DS 160 we have india addresses so should we mention indian address for the spouse even though we say that our spouse is in US ???

        This thing is confusing.
