  • Cost Involved in H1B processing?

I wanted to know what is cost involved in various stages of H1B petition.
Reason is earlier my company filed H1B and I am about to resign from that company
So it’s likely that they will ask me to reimburse H1B expenses they have done so far.

My petition status is - it was filed and later on RFE was received which is now
Responded and USCIS is processing RFE response.

I wanted to know approximately how much they have spent so far on petition.
    It is normal processing.

    Please Help.

I wish I was a senior, but I will still answer.
First, if you want someone to help you in 2 and a half hours, hire an attorney who will give you accurate numbers and will be obligated to help.
Second, seeking money from employees for H1B processing is illegal.
Third, if you were the one who requested the company to file your H1B and have entered into a signed contract honorable in India (assuming you are Indian), then you are legally liable for breaking that contract.
If the company has sponsored you just as a general process it follows for all employees then there is no way you can be asked to pay back the costs.
It costs about 4 to 6 thousand dollars. But I am sure you have googled for the exact number.

This is my opinion. Not a legal advice
