Going for H1B : Name spelled diffrently in passport & other documents

Name in Passport (& 10th,12th Marksheets) : Surbee Goyal
Name in Other docs (degree,driving license,job related docs) : Surbhi Goyal

I am working in IT,with 5+ yrs of experience.Going for H1B in the next cap (2013).Below are my queries :

1. Will this spelling diffrence (Surbee --- Surbhi) be an issue in getting the visa?
2. Is it needed(mandatory) to get this correction done on my passport to get the correct spelling-"Surbhi" ?

P.S : I have a affidavit which is notarised by the dist. collectorate which says "Surbee" and "Surbhi" both the names belong to me and this mistake is not intentionally done.

Did this difference of name caused any issue? I have a similar problem. My Name spellings are diff in Metriculation (10th) certificate and degree (Shahzad Muner) but in all other place these are Shahzad Munir. Please share if notarized letter was enough for you
