Visa interview question

Hi all,

Background,
- Company A terminated employment.
- No paystubs for 2 months
- H1B approved but I-94 denied through Company B.
- Exit/entered at POE with valid Visa from Company A to refresh I-94 and get back in status.

Now after close to 3 years, trying to attend a VISA interview, still employed with Company B.

Do you know what effect that blurry period would have on my interview.

What do you mean 'H1 approved but I-94 denied'?

How is that possible?

apologies, that should have read - received work approval, denied extension of stay
