  • H1B extension for 8th year

    Hello all,

Here is my situation , When I was working for old company A ( around 6th Year ) I got an I 140 approved and had to change the company B . So the Company B has applied for H1B extension based on approved I 140 and got 3 year extension , Which would be over by OCT 2013 . The new company is yet to start my GC process . The old employer has called me to inform that he had to withdraw my I 140 ( which he did ) .

My question to forum members is that

    1) can I apply for H1b extension based on My approved I 140 ?
    2) when I am checking my I -140 status it still showing that I was approved on so and so date only ( it does not say it been been revoked ) . Is there any difference between the employer revoking the I 140 and INS revoking it ?

thanks all for your time and advice
    Krishna

I don't think you can apply for further extensions in this case.
