Hyderabad - 221g White Slip

Hi,

I had my H1B/H4 interview on 8th of this month. With 7th OFC done, I took my family - My wife, my two kids for their fresh H4 and my fresh H1B visa interview on 8th morning at Hyderabad Consulate.

Everything was smooth, and finally, we had to face the VO.

Excerpt of the interview

Gave all the details required and provided the Passports along with my I797A Original Form.

After few questions, he gave me a white slip and told me to reply to the questionnairre which he sent to my mail ID and took the Passports back.

I came back to office and replied to all the questions [my name, father name, mother name, my wife name and US contact details along with the Resume in TXT format].

Please let me know if anyone else also has faced similar situation.

Hyderabad - 221g White Slip - Status - Case # not existing

Hi All,

As I received the 221g form, I regularly monitor the status of the case. Today while doing so, I found a strange message:

We were not able to identify Case # YYYY ZZZ-ZZZ-X, Please make sure you have entered your case number correctly.

I've properly provided my case number.

If anyone is getting the same response, please get back otherwise please suggest what does this mean.

I emailed to the address provided explaining the situation couple of days ago. But didnt get the response yet.
I also called to those call service numbers but in vain, couldnot connect the call.

Please let me know if you find anything else.

Big thanks to IMMIHELP.COM. I got my passports with the H1B stamped only after 11 days. It is the Almighty's Grace by which I'm able to get this.

Hi,

How is everyone checking their case status?
I can only check it with my application ID but not with case number.
Does anyone have the same issue?

Congratulations.

When u received an email from US travel docs were you able to check status on CEAC website?

I got email but my case status still showing as it is under admin process

It is the same case with me too. I have attended a Visa interview on 21st Feb 2013, and issued me a white slip, and retained my passports.
These is no update till now.

I have a question that, If my visa is approved, how would I come to know that ? do I get an email form Consulate ? or I have to check the passport after it is ready for pickup ?

1. Check your case status on caec site using case number.
2. Track your passport online or call vfs at there helpline number.
