This is my first time posting to this forum, so please forgive me if this topic has been discussed before. I am currently on an F-1 visa finishing my B.S. I received an offer for a full-time web developer position at the same university where I am currently studying. I can start at that position as soon as I graduate. I have a few questions regarding changing my status to H1.
1. Would my job fall under the cap-exempt University H1 visas?
2. Is there an overview of the visa process that I can read?
3. What kind of paperwork do I need from the University?
4. Do I need a lawyer for this process?
5. Where can I find the application deadlines?
