H4 approved while on L2, can I still work till EAD expires?

Hi,

I and my wife came to US on L1 and L2 Visa. It is valid till Dec-31st accordingly EAD is also approved till Dec-31 and she is working based on her L2-EAD status.

Mean time we applied for H1 and H4, and it got approved on Oct-28. As per attorney COS (change of status) filed and approved.

But EAD card has approval till Dec-31, so can my wife still work till Dec-31st or do she have to stop working immediately?

No. EAD is based on L2 status and cannot be used once the status ends.
