Visa appt dates 1st week of Jan 2013 - Chennai, Hyd, Mumbai

Hello All.

I currently have an appointment at New Delhi for Jan 3rd. But we would prefer to get an appointment at Chennai/Hyderabad/Mumbai instead of Delhi as we are vising India for a short trip. My visa receipt was locked multiple times and blocked me from booking an appointment until yesterday .

Since the naive website doesn't let us view available dates without jeopordizing current appointment, i.e. you have to cancel first to reschedule another appointment, can someone who did not take an appointment yet please post the available dates at the above mentioned consulates?

Also if someone wants to swap their appointment elsewhere to mine at Delhi, please ping me so that we can co-ordinate a time and do it.

Chennai Consulate - 2nd/3rd week of Jan

I'm in the position as yours. But I'm looking for 2nd and 3rd week of Jan but all I could get was the 4th week of jan, jan 28th at the Chennai consulate.

It will be helpful if you could post what dates were available at Chennai Consulate and Delhi when you booked your appointment.

There were dates available for second week of Jan like 11th to 18th at Mumbai and 15th to 18th at Hyd. Delhi has almost all dates in January. Please inform if you know dates re-open for first week of jan at Chennai/Mumbai/Hyd.

I saw dates for Dec 27th and 28th a week back, but my info could be stale. I have an appointent at Delhi for Jan 3rd that I can swap for an appointment at Chennai or Mumbai.

FYI I cancelled my appointment in Delhi on Jan 3rd, 2013. Also there are almost all dates in January for Mumbai consulate.
