Just wondering how did you came up with this ***** number of 4 weeks? Is this your observance or did you read some where.

I also think, Case Numbers are personal and should not be revealed. There is no advantage sharing this personal information so why share ?

Does any one have idea that resolution time of 221g have reduced in last few years. Actually i stuck in two 221 g (in 2006 forB1/B2 & 2011 for H1). It was cleared in around 3 months on both ocassion.

This time i also stuck up in 221 g for H1B stamping with no document asked. Looks like its a name/background check. However i get my wife's passport returend with in 2 weeks with H4 stamped & i am still waiting since 26th April.

Does any one had any idea on this.. Surprisingly the day i received my wife's passport my status on ustraveldocs.com iscoming as :"No updated Status available for the passport number submitted".. I dont know what does this means,. Does any one faces similar situation & any idea that i wil get this time 221 g would clear soooner than my last two incident which got cleared in 2-3 mnths .. Did US improves their system of cross checking in last 1-2 years.

Just wanted to share, my status date has been updated to today's date unfortunately with old message "Administrative Processing" .

my wife had her h4 interview on april 25, was handed over 221g white and was sent a questionnaire via email which was replied the very next day. Her pp and my I797 were taken, she had to withdraw her pp for urgent travel needs.
Currently the case updated date is May 17.2013 with same message. For many who had interview in last week of april, updated date is same - may 17. Please let us all know if there is any update

My status date is also updated to May 29th (yesterday it was dated as May 28th) but still in Administrative processing.
Infact most of the other case numbers which I mentioned in earlier post and have been tracking are moved from May 28th to May 29th.
so there are two updates yesterday and today. That is definitely some progress is going on. Hope to get it cleared this week.

Based on my analysis on various case numbers, Lots of cases from March and April were cleared on May 17th. That was a *****al day.
And that was a mid of month and friday.
Similary I think the end of month friday, that is May 31st or May 30th as well could clear off lot of other pending applications pending
since last 3 to 6 weeks.
I am wishing and praying for as many folks as possible to be cleared by end of this week so that you will enjoy a nice weekend from June 1st.

221g status report pdf file for hyderabad?

Hi Guys,

is there any way to get the link for the 221g status report pdf file for hyderabad like the one below which is for chennai.

I remember two years back when I was stuck with 221g in hyderabad, there was a pdf file status report published twice every week.
That pdf report was very helpful because comparing each pdf file with previous one, I was able to see how far or how near
my case is and estimate the processing time. For example, the pdf file was around 20 pages long and I noticed that
as soon as our case number comes up to around page number 8 or 9 then the case was getting cleared and removed
from the pdf file in the next report and visa was getting issued. My case number started with entry in page number 20 and
moved to page 9 in 5 weeks and I had visa issued in 5 and half weeks.
I had saved the following link of the pdf file during that time (given below). This is very old status file though but I am trying to see
if anyone has the link for the latest one. I could find the latest one for chennai only but I dont know how to get the
hyderabad status pdf sport file. Last time I had the status files from all the consulates from India.
