3. Looking at the trends, it is apparent that the current moving clearance lot contains 221(g) cases assigned 5-6 weeks back. Cases assigned before April 2013 are clearing out very slowly. .

Very good analysis.. Did you pesonally type in each case number and prepared this data.. If yes,, good patience i should say.. As this is for chennai consulate which is typically faster than Hyderabad.. But you are right on the fact that the cases that were created after April are clearing faster and the ones that are before April are still in Admin processing. I am myself waiting since Feb 14th and I know couple of other folks waiting from Dec.... Hope we all get cleared soon. Its frustating to the core... Thanks for the info and it keeps us going on a daily basis..

Fresh H1B 221(g) White Slip @ Delhi

Hello Everyone…

Anybody who is waiting response from US-Emabsy(New Delhi) since more than 4 months for fressh h1B admin processing clearance.

I am working with a good MNC (IT Company) for topmost USA based Pharma Company.
My case is for fresh h1b. Received RFE in Nov 2012 and got approved in Dec 2012.
VO did not ask so many questions.It looks like he is not interetsted. Just asked my passport and name then started to typing mean while he asked 4 questions(Your Name, Compnay name, Location and client) that’s it.Finally kept PPT & issued a white slip and no docs asked.

Interview date:- 06 Feb 203
Consulate: New Delhi


Please share your experience. What you guys will say, i should still have any hope ??

We all fall in the same category of 'Visa DOnkey' or name check.. It takes 4 to 6 months.. Couple of folks waiting from even longer... WE cannot anything but wait.. Couple of folks on this forum and myself have been in US for last 6 years or more.. WE have own home there, car, stuff etc.... WE paid taxes for the last few years and still sstuck in this meaningless s#$t...

INshallha Allah will soon clear our problemss. As long as you are here enjoy..... It might come so suddenly that you may not even have time to pack...

Reading your comments I was seriously expecting an email from Embassy stating my visa has been approved . Nothing such happened.

I too spoke with DOS CEAC today. Made friends with a couple of employees there. They too have the same thing to say....once it stays in pending admin processing for a certain amount of time, it will eventually end up being issued. If there are chances of rejection etc that would happen in the initial stages itself unless there is something really wrong with your H1B petition....taxes....employment verification...criminal history (if any) etc. Also if your update date has changed atleast once in the last couple of weeks, thats a good sign. Where ever your file/case is, at least its moving....hang in there. I know its hard...trust me....9 months and 20 days approx is not a short time!!

Haven't typed the data per se. The IT skills must be put to some use, right
Have done some scripting and excel macros stuff which reads the pdfs published for Chennai consulate, dumps it is an excel spreadsheet and executes a lot of excel functions and created the Pivot. The spreadsheet has now grown to about 6 Megs with lot of functions.

The only thing I find missing in my dataset is type of Visa against each case and still trying to figure out how to get the same ;( Thought of floating the case number requesting people to fill the data but looks like a long shot.

Chennai consulate may be faster than Hyderabad but the load is definitely more at Chennai. Wait till next week when I publish similar stats for 2012. Am in the process of arranging the links to pdfs.

Thats some serious skills you have.. I forgot that Chennai updates the PDF and displays it.. For Hyd consulate we have to type our case number and retrieve the update... Its good to have a PDF as you can see many of our kind sailing in the same boat...

DOS Contact Number

Mirza,

The number I gave you previously was VFS customer care, I searched for DOS (Washington) number, we can call and check status of 221(g) with them.

Below is their number,

What I have read is, they put you on 10-15 min wait time and then you can speak to a person. Have your passport number and case number ready.

(same as yours, i mean status update changed exactly after a month but still status is Administrative processing). I felt very happy and waited for passports.. It has been 100 days and I am still waiting.. When I called DOS and said that my status update date changed twice... they told that someone is working on the case and it will be updated once the processing is completed...

I have seen similar cases in **** ** forum and other places.. Standard time is 4 to 6 months.. Couple of folks like Mirza are waiting for more than six months.. If lucky it will be done in 2months.. if not it will take longer.. Everyone will get visa for sure as its a security check and finger printing verification..

I have seen couple of cases where the visa office first ordered Employer verification (221g Blue form) and once the verification is done (2 months) folks got email what the 221g white folks gets.. And then it took 6 months... So total 8 months... For 221g white form what I can say 2 to 6 months... (email questioniare folks)... Inshallah keep praying and all will be well..

guys i am back to US but still monitoring the other cases... there is lot of cases getting cleared so dont lose hope. As I mentioned earlier, there are only 1% cases who are unlucky and unfortunate because and takes long time due to various reasons (like multiple 221g, additional processing on top of processing and too many hits during name check).
Today lots of cases got cleared from hyderabad. i dont want to put all the case numbers here but just to give you confidence see this case number 2013120 365 0001 in hyderabad
consulate.. this case got created on 30th April and got ISSUED today on June 10.. Assuming the person had submitted documents are whatever in May first week, he got it
issued around 5 weeks.. this goes with my earlier theory that most of the cases should be cleared in 4 to 5 weeks
