Green 221g slip in mumbai on nov-dec 2012

I got green 221g slip from Mumbai consulate on 10th Dec 2012 and submitted all information on 10th Dec 2012 and my waiting started, it will be great if some one will share there experience on or around same time and if they got there visa?

Keep patience..It will be long journey.As per the experience posted by other members it takes around 4 months for approval these days.Also heard for few they got approval in 2 months time.Keep checking your status by sending mail to [email protected] u can try calling (91-120) 660-2222...press 1 then press 5 and enter your UID. You will have update on your case.

4 months they only asked some documents like resume, position and stuff nothing major i hope i will get soon thanks for the reply

Does uid mean passport number? When we call..

Please mention "Request for specific information" in subject line of mail. In body mention your Passport number,CEAC code,UID and ask for update on your 221g case.They used to reply in 1 day time.
UID number u get when u create an account in ustraveldocs.com.
