Hello, Yes I know you cannot renew expired H1b, but you can resubmit it from scratch. But I am considering option to go to E-2. I read that i can apply for it with 50K-100k investment. Might be a good solution for me. But i am not sure if i have to leave the country in that case as well? Since my H1b is expired if i get the E-2 do i need to exit the country and come back.
