Hi,
I have a valid H1 visa valid until Sep 30th 2013. I have recently switched my company (June 2012) and during the H1 transfer to my new company, they have done my H1 extension as well until March 2015.
I am planning to visit India in January 2013. I have been told by my company that i will require stamping to come back to the United States. But, i have a valid visa till Sep 30th 2013, so do i really require stamping?
Is it because my H1 (I797A) is extended till March 2015, i need to go for Stamping?
Could someone please help me on this, i am planning to visit India for an emergency reason.
