How vital the previous rejection play its role in appearing for interview again?

I had my L1B interview last year on January 12,2012 and i was denied with no reason but on a harsh note. Now, i am going for interview for the same date this year for H1B. I am little nervous how the questions could be. Also, not sure will my past record influence them in taking a decision now. Any suggestion/Questions welcome.

Both are separate types of visas. L1B rejection should not affect your H1 interview. In fact during L1B rejection the VO might have asked you to apply again in the H1 category. Many times they dont question about previous L1 rejection while going for H1. The interview will typically be around H1, client, project, location, duration etc.
