H1B transfer stamping - is it required ?

My H1B visa is up to Sep 2014 and I 94 is upto oct 2014 from company A . I recently changed my job and H1B transfer is approved I 797 is up to Sep 2015.

I am planing to visit India on Feb 1 st week.

Is H1B stamping necessary ?

if not , what documents should I have to carry when I come back US ?

Not needed you can use the same existing Visa with the new petition. When you return make sure your I-94 matches the new petition expiry date.
