Administrative Processing Status for Minor Dependent Visa (H4)

Hi,

I dropped the documents with passport for my minor dependent daughter (5 yrs) to the drop off location for Visa (H4) stamping in India. I am checking the visa status online, it is displaying as “Administrative Processing”. What does this status mean by for a minor dependent? I didn’t receive any email from consulate for additional documents from me. I would like to know, when would I receive stamped passport for my daughter back?

What is the status now? How long did it take to complete admin processing? Did you have to submit any documents?
