Pink Slip (221g) issue with H4

Thanks for this number.
i tried calling this number but the guy told me to email travel docs only.
This is really a worst situation where one cannot get information at all.

I am also in the same situation. All our visas went for AP. My H1b was approved afetr 18 days and my kids H4 was also stamped on 22nd day. My Wife's H4 is pending for last 50days. My company advised me to send an email to Consulate . I sent it yesterday and tehy gave teh same template reply.
"Thank you for contacting us, however your spouse’s case is still pending under administrative process.Thank you for your understanding" I am expected to travel by end of this month and very much worried as my wife might face it challenging to travel alone with a 2yrs old kid if her visa isseed later...

I really don’t understand admin processing taking more than 2 months for H4 dependents. Looks like it’s a new MO of USA embassy to hold one family member in India and harass them .

Now I understand why 221 G is a Black Hole... No body provides any info (US travel docs/USA Embassy/DOS). There should be some transparency in system and just saying its “pending” is harassment for families who have been separated

This is really a painful situation for all families
My husband is in USA and i don't know when I'll get my visa and no information about visa at all. This is i guess the worst and horrible situation for all of us.

I understand its a difficult time for your family but you have time till this month end. Be positive and hope for some good news. All the best.

Same situation here as well ... My date of travel is approaching and I have already once postponded my travel and ny my company wont entertain any more requests.
My spouse's H4 is still pending and its more than 55 days now... Even if we contact consulate thru any means, they will be giving us the same template reply. And no way we can expedite the process. Only possible way is t owait..wait and wait.. wuntil the status changes to "Issued". Hope all of us will get thru by end of this month...

NO Update yet .. 60 days and counting..
Actually there were 30 cases of 221g on my day of interview and 27 got cleared until yesterday. 3 more to go...

I checked my status on consulate site, status date changed to 01-March but status is still pending.
Wanted to know what does it means?
Have they started working on my case or its just like a routine change.

Thats a Positive Sign Sweta....My Visa was issued exactly 1 week after this status change...
So now you may expect your visa soon..... Congratsss....
