I'm on H1B and currently on UNPAID medical leave from Jan 1 2013 due to maternity (C -Section) and planning to return to work by Feb 15th.
Kindly clarify if H1B status will still be affected during this period without getting PAID. Employer mentioned I can be on unpaid leave only for 30 days.
Also, Can I apply of State of NJ -Temporary Disability Benefits - DS Form 1?
