My wife has L2 visa .
Her H1 petition got approved and she is planning to go H1 stamping

Its it legal if she goes to H1 stamping?
If yes then can she hold both the visas or her L2 visa will get cancelled if she gets her H1 visa stamped?

There is nothing illegal about it.

In most likelihood her L2 will be cancelled.

Irrespective of the number of visas one has in the passport, one can only be in 1 Status while in US and to shift from one status to another one has to file COS.
