H1 petition approved, stamping is delayed, can I Travel in H4 now

Hi ,

I have my H1b petition approved, but due to stamping delay can i apply and travel now in H4 .Later once I get my project , Can I get my H1b stamped with my older H1b petition and work in US?

WIll my H1b petition be cancelled if i go on H4?

Yes, you can do that. However your H1 employer should not withdraw the petition.

Irrespective, any other employer can file a cap-exempt petition for you.
