Hi,
My OPT duration is 13th february 2012.- 12th feb 2013. I tried to find job but did not got any so I started taking training from the IT consultant from May 2012. Got pregnant in june, still didnt get any job so joint another consultant from october. Now in January 2013 i have decided to go for H4 visa. When we contacted my husband's company's lawyer they asked us to provide the employment letters stating i was employed for 20 hours/ week, whether it is unpaid or paid and job description. My first consulting company atleast gave me letter that i took training for 20 hr/ week but did not mention that i was employed. My second consulting company refused to issue any letter. I dont know what to do. I have all other documents required for change of status from F1 to H4 except the employment letter. My husband's company's lawyer is adamant about the employment letter. Now my OPT expiration date is coming closer- Feb 2013. Also, I cant be unemployed for more than 90 days.
Please help if you have any suggestions??
