VISA date vs I797 date

Hi!

I hope someone could help me... My I797 is effective on October 1, 2005 to June 30, 2008... But my visa was approved last July 25, 2005. Will there be a problem if I leave to join my company now before the start of my I797 which is October?

I would like to leave Aug 16 that is why I am asking so that I won't have any problems at the port of entry in the US.

As far as i know.
No You could not.
you can enter US just not more than 10 days before tha validity date (1 Oct 2005)
