H1 from Non profit to corporate
Hi,
I'm working on my OPT with a non-profit organization. I wish to change to regular corporate industry.
1. Once the H1-B cap for FY2006 is over, and the new employer(corporate) files an H1 for me, lets say in April 2006, will I be allowed to work for the new person from April-Oct 2006? Or I can start only on the 1st Oct 2006, once I get my H1?
2. In any situation, is there an H1-B transfer allowed from a non-profit to regular corporate industry?
I would appreciate any advices.
