Hi,
I have a question. Please find attached below my stay duration in US during both of my L visa travels.
From Date To Date Duration
1st L1B VISA
3/29/2008 3/3/2009 11 months, 3 days
6/21/2009 10/5/2009 3 months, 14 days
1/16/2010 11/17/2010 10 months, 1 day
2nd L1B VISA
10/17/2011 11/13/2013 24 months 27 days
Total 49 Months
Overall stay comes around 49 months. I heard from my friends that I can stay only 72 months overall in work visas(without clock reset)
As there is no clock reset in my case due to my travel dates and cooling period.
Is it really worth to file/convert L1B to H1B and go for GC(till labor) within this 23 remaining months?
Can you please clarify?
My Current/2nd L1B is valid till AUG 2014
