Hi,
I appeared for the interview 7 months ago at New Delhi Consulate, India. My visa application was for H1b. Visa Officer kept my passport and 797A and told me that they need to check something - I would be contacted in couple of weeks time. I was not given any 221g form during or after the interview till date. I have not received any communication and my passport is still with the embassy.
I have followed up regularly for status updates but not received any thing beyond - "It is in Admin processing". I do not know how to deal with this any more. I would like to get the correct status on my application and my passport returned to me. what are my options?
Any other similar experience? what did you do?
