B2 to H4 Status Change

Hi,

If I go to the USA on a B2 visitor visa and after a few months of stay there change my status to H4 dependent visa, will there be any problem in future in terms of seeking H1B visa or during green card?

Please assist.

AFAIk, COS to H4 is possible. However, the intent of B2 is tourism. Willfully knowing this and still doing a COS is technically illegal. The best way is to get an H4 stamp. Its pretty straight forward if all documents of employment are in place from a legible employer.
