H4 Visa Stamping

My husband is on H1-B status working for a company A. He recently switched to company B, so his petition number has changed. If I go to my home country do I need stamping with new petition number or else I can come back on the same old petition number without stamping from an old company A. Please give me your's advice.

Legally speaking, you should get your passport stamped with the new H1/H4. It will be a wise thing to do considering your future traveling in and out of India.
