Thanks to immihelp and all those who shared their interview experiences at US Consulate. Now it is my turn to share my experience @ Hyderabad US Consulate.
Bio-metrics was scheduled on 13th March and Visa Interview on 14th March.
Day 1: It went fine, I entered Consulate at 9: 50 am (scheduled time is 10:00 am) for bio-metrics and returned back in less than 10 mins
Day 2: Reached Consulate 10 mins before my scheduled interview time 8: 00 am and there is a long queue. After entering the consulate and security checks, got the token. I was waiting in waiting hall to see my token(was bit nervous). Finally my token# was displayed to proceed to so and so counter, here it goes then….
ME: Good Morning Mam
VO: Very Good Morning Sir.
VO: So, you are working in YYYY Company
ME: Yes Mam, I work for YYYY (I am wearing my company id card).
VO: Can I see your Petition copy.
ME: Here it is Mam…..she looked into it and handed it back to me.
VO: Which City are you going?
ME: Mentioned the place
VO: Who is your Client?
ME: Gave a description of the Client I am working.
VO: What is your pay scale at US?
ME: USD YYYY p.a
VO: She pointed to me a booklet and asked whether you got this.
ME: Yes Mam, I got that booklet (this booklet is all about Human rights at USA)
VO: Who is your end client you are working for?
ME: I mentioned the details, and then I heard the golden words I’m waiting for….” I am approving your Visa”.
VO: You have B1 as well and you haven't utilised it till now
ME: I explained the reason for that.
VO: Have a great day Sir.
ME: Thank you! And Have a great day to you as well Mam…
